We explained to the Court that taxing a person who walks with the aid of a prosthetic limb or a wheelchair, was akin to taxing an able bodied person for walking. We <a href=\"https:\/\/main.sci.gov.in\/supremecourt\/2017\/21094\/21094_2017_36_19_24413_Order_26-Oct-2020.pdf\">succeeded<\/a> in getting Court Notices issued to the Union of India and the Ministry of Finance, and the case is now awaiting final arguments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perhaps one of our most important on-going pro bono constitutional cases.
